Just a quick post and a couple of pix... one rare 'unmasked shot' and one very sweet last touch on the cheek before Maw went home for the night. Thanks to everyone for continuing to read this blog and for all the overwhelming support you all have offered. I don't know if Doug can possibly understand that there are literally hundreds of people pulling for him from all corners of the globe, but I think I'll tell him tomorrow anyway.
For the worry warts out there... he's doing great still, and no further news on my brother Clint, which sounds like good news to me considering where he was at last night. Thanks for adding him to your prayers as well.
Good night to Duggie, and all of you.

He is so perfect and precious. A collective "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" is being said at the Brown house.
So sweet.
EG is making him not a "get well" picture but a " get BIG" picture. We will pop it in the mail....whenever she is done....
Dear Wilsons,
You are quite simply, amazing. I am not sure if you realize how BIG your family is. Reading this blog and seeing the support and love from all of your friends and family is epic.
Little Doug is proving to live up to all of his namesake's qualities and as the heir to the throne is more than living up the realm's expectations. What a strong man and an amazing fighter.
As for thoughts and prayers I am not sure you realize you are dealing with Latin devotion! There have been Mexicans and Cubans lighting candles from California to New Mexico, to New Jersey and Florida. More will be added for your brother Mike, please send our best to your family in Shreveport.
We cant wait for the day to meet this little man. Alex has started a new training program; laps around the house, beach ball dribbling, truck pulling… you know the basics. Typically a couple years can be all the difference in young men, but it is obvious it is he that is going to have to keep up with Doug.
We are here for you.
Steve, Marisol and Alex
We are watching and cheering Duggie on from Dallas! You guys are doing a great job - present and in the moment and available to him...trust me, he knows. I remember all too well the back and forth trips to the NICU, scrubbing in, sitting and watching, waiting, asking questions and listening. But as you've already come to know, there isn't anything you won't do to get him through this. And we're all here backing you up, sending positive energy and good vibes down to Austin!!
