Our boy has been home now for a month and a half and as you can see in the photos, he's doing great. He even went on his first vacation...a road trip to the beach in Florida with a quick stop in New Orleans. He did great and finally got to meet his meems, who joined us on this adventure. We spent several days soaking up the sun in Panama City Beach, but Doug did spend most of his time in the air conditioning condo bonding with meems. I'm not sure of his exact weight right now(he's due back at the doc tomorrow), but I'm guessing it is close to 11 lbs. Everyday he is awake longer and more and more alert. His sisters are totally in love and spend a lot of time fighting over whose turn it is to hold him. He's already scheduled for his next big trip...he's headed to L.A. with us next month to meet a few of our very close friends on the west coast.We'll continue to update the blog periodically for friends and family and please come visit us in person whenever you can.
